| Jordan Bendat Appell Rabbinic Educator, West Chester University jbappell@phillyhillel.org Jordan Bendat-Appell is the Jewish advisor for West Chester University. He is also a fourth year rabbinical student at the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College. Jordan grew up in Chicago, and has lived in Madison, WI, worked for the US Forest Service in Northern AZ, and spent two of the last five years in Israel. One of the years was spent studying at WUJS in Arad, and the Conservative Yeshiva, and the most recent at the Pardes Institute in Jerusalem. Jordan now lives with his wife, Yael, in Philadelphia. During the summers Jordan leads Jewish spiritual backpacking trips in the Western US. In addition to his work at Hillel, he is an intern with the Institute for Jewish Spirituality. |
