What is Hillel? The largest Jewish campus organization in the world, Hillel: The Foundation for Jewish Campus Life provides opportunities for Jewish students to explore and celebrate their Jewish identity through its global network of over 500 regional centers, campus foundations, and Hillel student organizations. Hillel strives to foster a renaissance of Jewish life.
Hillel in Philadelphia (HIP) is a unique Jewish organization bringing together college students from the greater Philadelphia area. It encourages these students to create and participate in a wide variety of exciting programs. Through the college network Hillel In Philadelphia provides, students come together and explore Jewish life by participating in social, educational, and cultural programs. Various campuses sponsor weekly events in students' homes, neighborhoods, and throughout the city of Philadelphia. Student committees plan and implement these events, limited only by their imagination. Become part of Hillel in Philadelphia and put your own ideas into action!
HIP is a program of Hillel of Greater Philadelphia, which supports the Hillel programs at all the schools in the Philadelphia area.
